Valli is a shooting star

Valli Opticians Group has been hailed as a star performer in a monthly competition run by Huddersfield Town Football Club and club partner Lucas Lee.

Valli Opticians is the latest winner of the Shooting Star award in recognition of our acquisition of the seven-strong opticians group A H Mertons Limited.

Each month Huddersfield Town Football Club and club partner Lucas Lee highlight businesses that are making a big impact across the area to receive the accolade and they then draw up a shortlist of contenders and select an overall winner.  Huddersfield Town Football Clubs ethos is to ‘make the difference’ in our local area and this is a sentiment shared by us at Valli Opticians.

The winners of the Shooting Stars awards are announced on htafccommercial.com each month and receive a special ‘Shooting Star’ trophy.  We will display ours with pride for all to see.

Valli Opticians now has 14 stores stretching from coast to coast along the M62 corridor.

Receiving the award, Moin Valli, managing director said: “this has come as a total but a very pleasant surprise.  I am honoured to accept this award on behalf of the company and my team, without whom none of our success would be possible”.

The Shooting Star award marks the achievements of businesses in West Yorkshire which are making a difference to the area. At the Valli Group, we have always put outstanding customer service and involvement with local communities at the centre of our business model. As a result we have received a lot of local support and this year celebrated our tenth anniversary. Valli Group now employs 72 staff across 5 counties and also has a corporate eye care and domiciliary home eye care division.
