Look who’s talking – Grace Chapman

Following on from the Valli staff awards in Elland last month we have interviewed our winners. Here we would like to introduce Grace Chapman, manager of  L Mitchell Opticians in Hyde.  L Mitchell Opticians are part of the A H Mertons group which became part of the Valli Group in November 2015.

Valli    How did you feel when you and your team won the award and where is it now?

Grace Chapman    I was very excited and proud of all members of the team as we have worked hard all year.  Our award is proudly displayed in our reception area for all to see.

 Valli    What’s the one accomplishment of your team that you are most proud of and why?

Grace Chapman    Having only joined the company in April 2015 we have worked hard as a team to become more efficient in providing top quality eye care for our patients.

 Valli     If you had only one word to describe your team what would it be?

Grace Chapman    Dynamic.

 Valli      What’s your passion?

Grace Chapman    My passion is to provide excellent customer service in a friendly working environment and supply good quality spectacles to our patients which both look good and fit correctly.

 Valli   Who do you admire the most?

Grace Chapman    I admire all of my team for making me feel so welcome and supporting me as the new team leader. They have all embraced a fresh new look and any new ideas I have introduced on the way we work in practice.

 Valli   What’s your key to success?

Grace Chapman    Having a happy working environment where all team members are working to the best of their ability to provide a memorable professional experience for our patients.
