We can advise you on the best type of contact lenses to suit your needs. And because our appointments are longer than most, we can spend the time getting it just right for you.
The Trial
Most people, no matter their age or prescription of glasses, are suitable for contact lenses. The majority just presume they are not suitable and don’t bother looking into it any further. You can get contact lenses as a full time replacement for glasses, to give you flexibility from glasses wear, for sport, for special occasions such as weddings or holidays, or even to give your eyes a different look with our range of coloured contact lenses.
Our optometrists will happily discuss all the options available to you and we will guide you through the process, starting off with an initial consultation, otherwise known as a trial. During the trial, we will discuss your lifestyle and requirements, and will recommend the best contact lenses for you. Once the optometrist is happy with the health of your eyes, and the fit and vision in the contact lenses, you will be ready to learn how to apply and remove (A&R) the lenses.
The A&R
Our expert team will take you through a simple step by step process of how to apply and remove your contact lenses. Most people are able to master this in about half an hour but don’t worry if you struggle at first. We will take as long as you need and often get people to come back in again for a second session to build their confidence. You will also be given detailed instructions on how to clean and look after your contact lenses. Once you have mastered the A&R, you will be able to trial the contact lenses for up to a week. You will then return to see the optometrist for a follow up appointment and if the trial has gone well, you will be able to order some contact lenses and sign up to our Valli VIP Plan.
