Adrian Aaron does the talking

We continue to follow on from our teams successes at the Valli staff awards in Elland in November by interviewing another of our winners. Here we would like to introduce Adrian Aaron, A H Mertons winner of the Kamal Aftab Award For Professional Excellence. Adrian is a dispensing optician at Aarons Opticians in Stockport.

Valli                       How did you feel when you won your award and where is it now?

Adrian Aaron    I felt an immense sense of pride on receiving the award. It made me feel special. I work with a loyal and fun team and this award is for them as well. The award has taken pride of place on my mantlepiece at home, where family and friends can see it.

Valli                      What’s the one accomplishment you’re most proud of and Why?

Adrian Aaron   In terms of accomplishment:  I have worked with Mertons for over 22 years and treat Mertons as an extended family. I also look forward to working with Moin and all at Valli team in the future.

Valli                      What’s your passion?

Adrian Aaron   In terms of passion – With work: to make sure our patients are delighted with our services and especially with their new specs.  Out of work: I like to keep fit, swim and weight training……..time permitting! I also like a session of video gaming when i can. I also follow the ups and downs of Man Utd.

Valli                        If you were an animal what would you be?

Adrian Aaron    I would be a lion because I know I will be a `roaring success’!!

Valli                       Who do you admire the most?

Adrian Aaron    I actually admire my Mum the most for having a positive attitude to life.
