Eyes on our…Samantha Eastwood

In our new, ‘Eyes on’ feature, we’ll be chatting to some of our fabulous staff. Sam is Optical Assistant at our Hebden Bridge practice and has worked with Valli Opticians since 2013.

What do you like most about your job?

I like meeting new people and helping each person that comes through the door. I also love picking frames and helping patients to choose the right style for them.

So which frames do you like the best?

My favourites at the moment are Ted Baker because they’re classic yet modern. I also like the Ronit Furst frames, they’re perfect for Hebden Bridge because they’re funky and cool, just like the town itself.

What do you love about being part of the Valli Opticians team?

I love that it’s an independent company with a great family feel to it and that we are given the time to cater for every individual patient. We never rush our patients and we make sure they are given the best possible service. I feel valued. I work with a brilliant team and when I come to work my team is like my family. That makes it a happy place to work and I look forward to coming here everyday. Patients know when a team is happy.
